Every now and then someone/something comes along to completely flip our audible scripts. That kind of moment now comes in the form of Roses Gabor, who has just recorded a vocal based MIX-tape with DJ Martelo (Santigold’s man on the one’s and two’s). To clarify, that is a good ol’ seamless mix and blend of instrumentals with her vocals attached to it. I wonder if she recorded it in one sitting…?

You may recognise her voice from SBTRKT and Gorillaz fame; she’s definitely one to look out for.

To start 2012 off with a bang, we would like to introduce Gregg Michael Gillis, a.k.a Girl Talk; undoubtedly the king of new wave mash-up.

You may find him mixing Black Sabbath with Ludacris and Britney Spears with De La Soul. This is just an example of his pure genius:
